One Monaro owner, who has a 24 powered by twin Honda 90s, lives in Sault Ste Marie. He is a timber cruiser operating in the real backwoods of Canada. He works on Lake Nippigon and Lake Superior. For weeks at a time this Monaro owner heads out to count timber, staying away for weeks on end with the boat being used as home base while he and his crew work the land. A tent is carried along for the additional accommodation requirements. A former Beaver bush pilot, he regularly has to travel during some rather forbidding weather and has been known to arrive across the lake in 12 foot seas (attested to by the Canadian Coast Guard).
