This year's Monaro Rendezvous was held July 16 and 17 at Thetis Island Marina to celebrate 35 years in business. The weather conditions were not ideal as it rained off and on all weekend. The water conditions however were exceptionally good all weekend. We had 10 boats attend but considering the economy, cost of fuel and marginal weather that number is not bad. Included in the attendees were three guests who purchased their Monaro within the last year.

To keep the guests busy, this year we did a scavenger hunt for random items located on your boat. The winning boat collected 14 items from the list of 20 which won them a pair of binoculars.

This year the dinner was moved indoors to escape the unpredictable weather. The marina prepared a delicious meal of chicken and ribs. After dinner the huge assortment of donated prizes were handed out where every boat took home multiple items.
